Biography
Rita is a lawyer specialized in Civil Law and Intellectual and Industrial Property Law. She is a member of the Rome Bar Association, admitted to practice before the Higher Courts, and holds a Ph.D. in Law.
She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society and Business of the University of Tuscia.
Rita has in-depth expertise in Civil Law and Intellectual and Industrial Property Law and has developed extensive experience in both private and public contracts. In these areas, she provides legal advice and representation, with particular focus on matters involving complex technical and institutional aspects.
She also takes part, as a member of technical advisory panels and arbitral tribunals, in the management and resolution of complex disputes.
Rita serves as a senior legal consultant in public procurement and contractual matters at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service, as well as at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Campania Region.
She is the author of numerous publications in the fields of Civil and Administrative Law, including the handbook Liability of Healthcare Institutions and Practitioners.
Her academic and professional career has been strongly oriented towards comparative legal studies and international benchmarking of legal systems. This began with her doctoral research in Domestic and International Arbitration Law and continued during her research activity at LUISS University in Rome on the European Small Claims Procedure.
Her methodological approach—marked by analytical rigor, strategic vision, and close attention to regulatory and jurisprudential developments at both national and international levels—constitutes a significant added value in her advisory and litigation activities.
