She has gained significant experience in top-tier law firms, providing legal assistance to financial institutions, national and international investment banks, and various public law entities, primarily in connection with corporate financing transactions, real estate financing, structured finance, and project financing.

She also offers advisory services in commercial and corporate law, including, among other activities, the drafting of related contractual documentation. Maria Giovanna has served as a Member of the Supervisory Body for four companies within the Maccaferri Industrial Group based in Bologna (under the parent company Società Esercizi Commerciali Industriali S.p.A. – SECI).
